{Best of 2017 }

It's been a while since I posted on the 'ol website, but 2017 was just such a wonderful year that I couldn't help but share a few of my favorite images from these past 12 months.  Thank you to all of my incredibly beautiful clients for making this my best year yet. You are captivating on the outside and on the inside.  Here's to 2018.

{ Family } The Cantrells

I'm pretty obsessed with these images and this super cute family.  I couldn't believe how calm and laid back this shoot was, especially because it included two rambunctious dogs and a little one.  But, Primeaux couldn't have been sweeter or calmer.  Every once in a while, he would roll over backward and just stare up at the sky without making a peep until we went and sat him upright!  Just awesome. It was such a please to spend a quick and beautifully glowing fall afternoon with these guys!

{ Family } The Cunninghams

Words cannot express how much I adore this little family. They are some of my favorite people in the world, and Miss Isla is not only the cutest little one I know, but she's also so smart and sweet. Thank you, Cunninghams for a wonderful session and for being such a blessing!

{ Senior } Seth

I can't wait to see what the future has in store for this graduating senior.  Seth is hard-working, multi-talented, very intelligent, and best of all, incredibly caring. I have been blessed to watch him grow and emerge as an exemplary young man and a strong leader within his school. He really is the total package, and any school will be lucky to have him.  Thanks for the awesome urban shoot, Seth, and best of luck with your the rest of your senior year.

{ Senior } Maddy

Spending the evening with this beautiful young lady and her momma was such a delight, and I quickly realized that Maddy is someone who has a joy and a zest for life.  Coming from Des Moines (mega brownie points in my book) and making her home in Colorado, Maddy has been a blessing to RCS and a light to those she meets.  Athletically talented, hilarious, and kind-hearted (not to mention incredibly photogenic), Maddy truly is one-of-a-kind.  My hope is that I captured even just a fraction of her beauty on camera.
